I’m really having fun with these Intuitive Color Analysis pages! I’m really intrigued by how my emotions get stirred when I’m writing them. That is something I did not expect.
This Color Trance is inspired by my FB friend Davette. I don’t know her personally, but because she chooses Lilac to represent herself, there are some lovely clues she leaves for me about who she is. I would imagine Davette to be sentimental, feminine, healing, inspiring, and spiritual. With an ethereal, uplifting, and pure quality about her. I hope she (and you) enjoy my interpretation of Lilac, which comes from my color research of both ancient and new sources, and my own personal inspiration.
Here is my analysis of the color Lilac:
With a lavish infusion of white, Purple becomes Lilac. Like its origin of purple, it is romantic, spiritual, and thoughtful. But Lilac is delicate, sweet, fresh, and breezy. It speaks of caring and kindness of a pure heart. Feminine and sentimental, Lilac is sensitive and intuitive.
Lilac has upward energy. It seeks to lift the spirit in a soft, gentle way. Imagine an artist’s soft, upward brush strokes, releasing the nature of his soft intentions on his canvas. Lilac is a perfect color for you to add to your personal brand if you have a Sparkling Radiance™.
When I think of Lilac, I think of a fresh spring day, a whisper of things to come, Heaven even. I am lifted to memories of a soft embrace of a grandmother and remembering a time of feeling loved so unconditionally by her. I imagine sweet aromas and sparkling filigree jewelry adorning a vintage floral cotton dress. A dew-kissed morning. Being a child in a dream of my grandmother’s flower garden. Lilac bushes softly dancing to a gentle Spring breeze.
